30th Dec
We drove to a place called Orleton and found the village hall where the rally was taking place and were welcomed and shown where the fresh water was. We filled the tank and parked on the tarmac and headed for the hall to say hi to everyone and have a beer.

We chatted for a while and then got back to the van to change into our evening attire, Van club colours (Green, white and black.)
Back at the hall we met everyone for more beers and nibbles.
The entertainment was a one man band who used a loop pedal to the extreme and was very entertaining.

It was a great night and we eventually slipped off to our beds.
31st Dec
A sunny but frosty morning. We walked to the post office to collect some cash and then into the pub for some coffee and a chat with two old ladies.
Back at the van we sat in the sunshine until it was time to get ready to go out.
We had to where outfits which were linked to a previous van club rally, so we wore our beer festival (Oktoberfest) outfits.
We had a great night and the entertainment was a band whose girl singer was fantastic.
We saw the new year in and carried on partying well past midnight but eventually had to give in and go to bed!
1st Jan 2026!
A lie in today but we had to get up and get ready to move on as the rally finished today. We went into the hall to help clear up and say our goodbyes and then jumped into the van and hit the road.
Another great meet up!
