Sutton Hoo

After we had recovered from our New years eve party at The Marlborough in Dedham we set off for Sutton Hoo. It was one of the places on our list that we had always wanted to go to but never got around to it. It was back over the Orwell bridge and about 50 minutes from Dedham. We pulled into the car park and parked behind another motorhome and went exploring.

We decided to stay in the area and found a park up nearby at Sutton heath picnic area which looked like it might be ok for one night. clipboard.folds.entrust.      We settled down for the evening and had a very peaceful night's sleep.

Waking up in the morning refreshed and ready for the road ahead Andy took 'D' for a walk and Sue cooked breakfast then we headed for Dunwich heath beach car park for the day. More about that on the next page!
