On Sunday afternoon we drove to Tunstall forest and the Viking trail car park where we stayed over night.

In the morning Andy got on his bike and set off to do the 10 mile Viking trail. 2 miles in and he realised that it was too wet and the going was very hard so he opted out of the woods trail and carried on with a road ride instead.

After the ride we hit the road again and headed for Orford quay car park for the night but it was being resurfaced and was closed so we got on google maps and found a pub, The Duke of York in Woodbridge where we had a pint and a pizza in the gardens

Full to the brim we got back into the van and headed for Old Felixstowe where we parked up for the afternoon overlooking the sea . It was very windy so we had a quick walk along the beach and then back to the van to relax for a few hours before sorting out where to stay for the night.

Refreshed and ready for the road again we checked the map and found a place for the night, a lay-by near Martlesham heath. This is the site where Open reach test new ways to deliver fast fibre broadband and just outside the main gate there is plenty of space for our van so we stayed the night. The noise from the A-12 wasn't too bad and we had a good nights sleep.
