18th March
We headed up the A-10 and stopped at the Aldi on the outskirts of Hertford to stock up on groceries.
The fridge was full now so we carried on up the A-1 and eventually arrived at the Dusty miller pub stop where we would be spending the night in the car park.
VIDEO OF ARRIVAL
We popped into the pub for a drink and then had a walk up to the bridge which spanned the canal.

We parked up and but realised that we hadn't filled with fresh water so drove back to the tap and filled the tank.
Canopy out, bunting and flags up and then we went to meet up with Chris and Anita.
SHOTS OF VAN
We met up with Tracie and Tony and the rest of the crowd and had a few drinks whilst catching up on the gossip.
I the evening we all went over to the hall where the entertainment was bingo followed by a guitar duo.
19th
A bike ride had been arranged and we all met at the entrance to the rally field and set off on the 22 mile ride around the lanes and villages.
We stopped at a shop / cafe and bought ice creams and drinks before heading off again until we stopped at a pub for a well earned pint.

One of our crowd fell off of his bike and hurt himself quite badly. We all stopped to help and got him back to the rally field where an ambulance arrived and took him to hospital. Apparently he had broken ribs and collar bone!
We had a street party in the field to celebrate St. Georges day and we all brought food and drinks and the music was playing, it was a great afternoon.

In the evening a few of us went to the pub, The Fighting Cocks, where there was an average duo playing. A crowd of noisy rugby players came in but they left after a while and so did we soon after, walking back to the van and falling into bed, nodding off almost imediately our heads touched the pillows.
