Fields end water was a trip which we planned because the site looked beautiful, and it was! However the area was disappointing. The pub in the village of Doddington didn't have any decent ales.

We had a hard stand with hook up and water. All other usual facilities were available. It was a very cold weekend and we didn't have the correct fittings to fill the water tank so we used a 5 litre bottle and got about 50 litres in before giving up. The boiler electric safety valve opened and emptied the boiler so no hot water. The heating worked great though as we have a Trumatic C6002 which can run as a heater with no water.

'D' didn't enjoy the trailer very much, even though he had his roll neck jumper on and a towel around him!

We had a nice walk around the fishing lakes but it was absolutely freezing (notice the snow!) We would like to return to this site in the summer. This pitch cost us £36 for two nights.
